Some Sunsets are Gray

Not much happened today, so there isn’t much to write about. It was a warmer day with a lot of sun, so we thought we could “hang out” on the beach. Well, it wasn’t as warm as all that (it is April after all), so we abandoned that idea before too long. Not before seeing some cool little shore birds, however.

In the evening some horses paid our neighbors a visit. Everyone is warned on entry to the park that these are wild horses, and that you must not approach them. They even threaten a fine of a minimum of $100 if you are too close to them. Well, what about if the horses approach you. Is there a fine for them? The horses decided that they wanted what our neighbors were having for dinner. We watched as the horses completely upended their dinner. The unfortunate folks had to abandon their meal, try to get the stuff safely to the car, and not get bitten in the process. Bad horses. Very rude. No manners at all.

NeighborsPonies.JPGBy sunset time the sky was overcast, so there was no color to the sunset. That’s kind of the way the day felt: no particular color. Not that that’s a bad thing. It’s just that it doesn’t make for much of a story to tell. Some sunsets are gray. That’s all. And that’s OK.
